 WHY GUTTER CORNER FIX WORKS

There are a few reasons why gutter corners tend to leak...

• Poor workmanship
• Insufficient or poor sealant
• Ice pressure Expansion/ Contraction

With Gutter Corner Fix we offer a solution for these common problems. Our standard is a properly installed Gutter Corner Fix. We clean the gutter, scrape away most of the existing sealant and the insert the corner. We remove the cover from the tape and secure the corner into the gutter. We use a 3M VHB tape which has an incredibly strong bond to the metal and the PVC insert.

After the corner is secured we apply Shell Tixophalte sealant to each side of the corner created a water tight corner for years to come. Because the corner is only attached by 1/2" tape on each side it allows the rest of the flexible PVC to float over the metal allowing movement in the metal below, without causing failure of the sealant. Typically sealant failure is caused by micro movement in the metal at its connection point. Our corner eliminates that pinch point and absorbs the movement through the flexible PVC.
